SEGA and GPTRACK50 have published a new in-depth study dedicated to Stupid Never Dies, an action RPG with pop-punk hues coming on October 21, 2026 on PC and PlayStation 5. In the video "Deep Bite #1: Action", director Eiichiro Sasaki presents in more detail the game's particular combat system, built around a rather simple principle: Davy is already dead, so why bother avoiding the blows?

The protagonist is in fact a zombie and this condition is transformed directly into a gameplay mechanic. Davy can fight extremely aggressively, taking opponents' attacks and continuing to counterattack, while the progression into the depths of KOM's domain allows you to obtain increasingly powerful abilities. These include Style Eat, through which Davy can devour enemies and absorb their styles, and Body Hack, a system that allows you to use recovered technologies to modify and enhance your body at Acelino's workshop. By accumulating enough energy, it will also be possible to unleash Davy Burst, the protagonist's ultimate attack. Each new descent into the depths will also allow you to accumulate bonuses to experience, progressively accelerating the growth of his abilities.
Stupid Never Dies is set in an otherworldly dungeon ruled by monsters, in which Davy occupies practically the last step of the social hierarchy. However, his mission will be far from insignificant: defeat creatures, level up and recover strange objects in the hope of bringing Julia, a frozen human girl, back to life. During the adventure it will be possible to steal the abilities of opponents and modify the undead body of the protagonist with increasingly bizarre upgrades. The project is developed by GPTRACK50, a studio formed by veterans specialized in action games, and aims to combine frenetic 3D combat, customization and a marked pop-punk identity within an exclusively single player experience.
Stupid Never Dies will be available on October 21, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, followed by the Japanese release on October 22. The game will be offered in Standard Edition for €49.99 and in the richer Glorious Idiot Edition for €59.99.
