Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has announced that GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT will be available from March 5, 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Developed by Bandai Namco Studio, the new action game will introduce a completely new timeline to the Gundam universe, chronicling humanity's struggle against a mysterious threat known as the Apocalypse.

The story will see players take on the role of RE-X, pilot of the Gundam Helix, accompanied by Vii, a multifunctional Haro unit designed specifically to support the new Mobile Suit. The two will be involved in a series of battles across the solar system, as they try to understand the true nature of the Apocalypse. The new trailer also shows a mysterious black Mobile Suit with fiery red eyes, hinting that it will play an important role in the events of the campaign. During the adventure RE-X will meet several characters, including Sofia, a mysterious girl who seems to be closely monitoring his movements, and April, captain of the Stellarvane, an independent special operations unit directly engaged in the fight against the Apocalypse. They are joined by Big Paul, leader of a group of desert pirates who assault the transports of the richest to distribute resources to the colonists, and Elaine, commander and talented Mobile Suit pilot engaged on the front line.
The combat will be accompanied by an extensive customization system of the Mobile Suit. The Gundam Helix can be modified by intervening on weapons, frames, thrusters and particular Apocalypse Units, indicated as AP-U, as well as on the coloring. The different weapons will have specific actions and abilities, allowing you to build different configurations and adapt your style to the battles fought both on land and in the skies.
GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT is already available for pre-order in the Standard, Deluxe and Collector's editions. Among the bonuses there is the early unlock of the Earth Blue colorway, while the Deluxe Edition adds Premium Mod Skins Set, a pack of 14 colors for Mobile Suits, a digital illustration, a musical selection and the Mission Reward Booster. The Collector's Edition is particularly rich, which also includes the contents of the Digital Deluxe together with a metal case, the HG 1/144 ARK-10 GUNDAM HELIX model kit in Earth Blue version and five promotional cards dedicated to the Gundam Card Game.
GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT will be released on March 5, 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, proposing a completely original story and a new conflict in the Gundam universe.
