For No Rest for the Wicked, Moon Studios' latest effort, fans will have to be patient again, as the release of version 1.0 of the title, initially scheduled for October 2026, has been postponed.
The studio, known mainly for Ori and the Blind Forest and the sequel Ori and the Will of the Wisps, has in fact officially announced a new launch window for the full version of the game, currently available in Early Access only on PC via Steam. Players will in fact have to wait until March 2027 for the debut of the final title on PC and PlayStation 5, while as for the Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X / S versions we will have to wait again, since no release date has been communicated for the latter two platforms at the moment.
To communicate the postponement of No Rest for the Wicked is the CEO of Moon Studios himself, Thomas Mahler, who expressed the reasons for this decision in a video for fans. According to Mahler, the team needs more time to refine the game in general, optimizing performance, refining the class system and making sure that the game reaches the set level of quality.

The postponement of the release of No Rest for the Wicked has also affected the timing to obtain the Founder's Pack, the exclusive item pack dedicated to those who purchase the game by a certain date. The latter, initially set for last July 10, has been moved to January 1, 2027 for PC players, while on PlayStation 5 it will be possible to pre-order the game with the Founder's Pack already included starting January 2027.
In short, the time is not yet ripe for No Rest for the Wicked, but it is not necessarily bad news for fans. The additional months of development will allow Moon Studios to refine the title calmly and take care of every detail, bringing a product to the market that lives up to expectations.
Recall that No Rest for the Wicked is an action RPG with soulslike elements, characterized by an isometric view and a dark fantasy setting with a medieval mold.
