After last month's presentation at Gamescom, Vaewolf is back to show up with a new trailer during the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct, this time focused on history and thirst for revenge that will guide the whole adventure. Developed by Milky Tea and published by Megabit, the title is a hectic hack and slash set in a fantastic reinterpretation of the ancient North of England.

The protagonist is theVaewolf, a legendary hybrid creature between werewolf and vampire, engaged in a treacherous hunt against the Viking clan responsible for the massacre of his family. Revenge will therefore represent the narrative engine of experience, accompanying the player on a path during which it will be possible to awaken new skills and become progressively more powerful.
The combat system will rotate especially around the ability to change form freely during clashes, exploiting three different incarnations. The Elf will allow to strike opponents from the distance with greater precision, the Lupo Mannaro will rely on the brute force to destroy enemy defenses, while the Vampire will allow to use powerful abilities related to dark magic. The skills of the different forms can be combined to achieve attacks and brutal finishers, leaving the player the opportunity to quickly adapt their approach to the various situations.
Particular attention was also devoted to artistic direction. Vaewolf will take you to explore Hand-drawn and inspired settings in the Lake District, from the mountains and lakes of Cumbria to the caves and ruins of the Underworld. Developers cite among the main visual influences the style of Hergé, creator of Tintin, combined with dark atmospheres and mythology associated with works of art Mike Mignola.
Vaewolf will arrive in 2027 on PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series ♪. The title will also support Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing you to play within the ecosystem Xbox both on console and on PC without additional costs.
