SummerClip has announced the launch of Ved: Recure on PC via Steam, an anime-style action roguelite that starts from a problem all too familiar to many players: a backlog now out of control. After buying yet another title to add to an already overflowing library, the protagonist ends up trapped right inside his new video game, finding himself in a sick world that is now close to collapse. At the base of this particular situation there is a mysterious epidemic capable of depriving its victims of the passion for video games, while anomalous weather phenomena and killing machines contribute to making the virtual world even more dangerous. With the power of the God of Games on their side, the player will have to fight, explore and face numerous bosses in an attempt to save what remains of this universe and finally find a way back to reality.

The combat system revolves mainly around the Buff Chain System, through which it is possible to assign different power-ups to actions such as Combo Finisher, special attacks, counterattacks after a dodge and parry. By freely combining the effects of the more than 150 available Buffs , it will be possible to build custom chains and adapt your style to the characteristics of the enemies and bosses faced, also choosing from more than 50 pieces of equipment.
The full version offers seven playable characters, each characterized by different combat mechanics and progression paths. Compared to the previous demo, the game now includes the entire campaign divided into four chapters and a total of 16 bosses, flanked by Boss Rush, Endless Mode and Training Grounds. SummerClip has also revised the acquisition of resources and several elements of the progression with the aim of making the overall experience more fluid. Particular attention has also been paid to Japanese dubbing, with a cast that includes Ikumi Hasegawa, Tomoyo Takayanagi and Mai Kadowaki. Producer Kaiyi Liang emphasized how the project was born from the team's shared passion for the video game intended both as an art form and as a creative medium, thanking the community, friends and colleagues for the support received during development.
Ved: Recure is available from today on PC via Steam at a price of €18.25, with a 15% discount valid during the first two weeks of launch.
