Team17 and Expression Games have released Update 1.5 of Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, the first major update since the shooter's launch. The update introduces some of the most requested content from the community, starting with two new weapons and the arrival of the Bell UH-1 Iroquois "Huey", one of the most iconic helicopters associated with the Vietnam War.

On the arsenal front, the US forces receive the M14 rifle, while the People's Army of Vietnam can now use the Type 56 SKS. The protagonist of the update, however, remains the Huey, reproduced with particular attention to details, decals and physical elements of the aircraft thanks also to the direct collaboration with Bell. nThe helicopter also introduces a new feature decidedly in line with the imagery of the conflict: the on-board radio can play music appropriate to the historical period during the flight. The songs will not only be heard by the occupants of the Huey, but will also be broadcast to nearby players as the helicopter crosses the battlefield.
Team17 reiterated how authenticity is one of the central elements of Hell Let Loose and the collaboration with Bell would have allowed the developers to propose a more accurate representation of the UH-1 Iroquois. Update 1.5 represents only a part of the programs outlined in the roadmap of updates for 2026, which includes the introduction of several other features requested by the community.
Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is available on PC through Steam, Epic Games Store , and the Windows Store, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Update 1.5 is available today on all platforms.
