Nintendo has finally unveiled Nintendo Switch 2, the successor of the famous Nintendo Switch, coming in 2025. The announcement was accompanied by a preview trailer, visible on YouTube channel Nintendo Italy and on the official website.
The new console promises a technological leap, supporting both exclusive titles for Nintendo Switch 2 that those for the first generation Nintendo Switch, both in physical and digital format. However, not all the games of the first Switch will be compatible; further details will be provided in the coming months.
Nintendo fixed a special event, Nintendo Switch 2 โ 02.04.2025, which will be held 2 April 2025. This Direct will offer a deeper preview of the features of the console, incoming games and system novelties.
To allow fans around the world to test the new console, Nintendo will organize a series of live events, called Nintendo Switch 2 Experience. Participants can try the console in several global cities, including Milan, Paris, Tokyo and New York.

- Paris: 4-6 April
- London: 11-13 April
- Milan and Berlin: 25-27 April
- Madrid and Amsterdam: 9-11 May
