In conjunction with the Steam Next Fest in October, the French publisher NACON and the Chilean studio ACE Team have shared with players a demo ofClash: Artifacts of Chaos.
Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is a unique action-adventure game, both in terms of gameplay and artistic direction. Visually, we find the touch of the ACE Team (Rock of Ages, The Eternal Cylinder...) whose original designs oscillate between the unusual and the extravagant.

With the controller in hand, players let the ferocity of Pseudo, the main character, express itself through third-person combat. From the traditional boxer stance to the more original claw stance, which allows players to strike opponents barehanded, five combat styles are available in this demo. The experience is enriched with numerous special moves that players can unlock by defeating extraordinary creatures. Finally, when conditions are met, players can switch to first-person camera and unleash a rain of punches on the opponent before finishing them with a final blow.
Aside from exploration and combat sequences, Clash: Artifacts of Chaos stands out from other action-adventure titles thanks to a new mechanic: the Ritual. Based on a dice game in which each participant possesses unique artifacts, the outcome of this ancient tradition defines the rules of combat, such as having a weapon or taking the first hit without reacting. No one can overturn the verdict of the Ritual! To survive, players must collect powerful artifacts and outwit their opponents.

The full game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam and Epic at February 2023.
