At the preview of the PC Gaming Show 2023, the French publisher NACON has shed light on the story of Clash: Artifacts of Chaos. Known for its distinctive artistic direction, the action-adventure game from the Chilean studio ACE Team reveals a poignant narrative in which a taciturn hermit ventures into unknown lands where the concept of justice does not exist.

Zenozoik: a hostile territory inhabited by fierce monsters and civilized creatures, where the strong dominate the weak. The wind has risen, carrying with it the wails of a small creature known as the Child, but not without leaving a note of hope in the heart of Pseudo. Players assume the role of this agile and powerful fighter who will leave their solitary life first to protect the Child, but perhaps also to disrupt the established order.
The main threat to all living beings in Zenozoik has a name: Gemini, the Mistress of Artifacts. Thanks to a legendary relic, she can bring any opponent to their knees during the Ritual, a dice game that sets the rules. Suffering from an unknown illness, she seeks to seize the Child to harness their powers and heal herself. Despite her disinterest in the civilized world and the laws that govern this land, Pseudo will face Gemini and her enforcers, guided only by her own convictions.
Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is a unique action-adventure game, both in terms of gameplay and artistic direction. Visually, we find the touch of the ACE Team (Zeno Clash 1 & 2, Rock of Ages, The Eternal Cylinder...), whose original designs oscillate between the unusual and the eccentric. With the controller in hand, players let the ferocity of Pseudo, the main character, express itself through third-person combat. Beyond exploration and combat sequences, Clash: Artifacts of Chaos distinguishes itself from other action-adventure titles thanks to a new mechanic: the Ritual. Each participant possesses artifacts with unique properties, and the outcome of this ancient tradition defines the rules of the fights.
Clash: Artifacts of Chaos will be available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Steam and Epic Games Store on 9 February 2023.
