RDBK Studios has announced that Renown, the eagerly anticipated medieval-themed PvP survival builder, will arrive in Early Access on 22 September 2025 on PC via Steam. Accompanying the announcement is a newly released gameplay trailer showcasing the survival, crafting, and combat dynamics players can expect in a vast and brutal medieval world. Following a successful Kickstarter campaign in May 2024 and several well-received community playtests, Renown has quickly climbed Steam’s rankings, becoming one of the platform’s most sought-after survival games.
In Renown, up to 100 players face off in massive open-world servers, where survival is won through strategy and strength. Resources must be gathered, imposing fortresses built, and one’s clan led into battles against rival factions. Every wall erected, every alliance forged, and every sword strike could shift the balance of power. The title aims to deliver a tactical and mechanically precise experience of the medieval war: players can build and defend castles, engineer devastating siege machines, and engage in combat ranging from one-on-one duels to large-scale battles. Extensive possibilities for weapon and armor customization, with unique patterns, skins, and emblems, will allow players to express their identity on the battlefield, from humble beginnings to becoming legendary figures.
The date is set for 22 settembre 2025, when Renown will officially enter Early Access on Steam.
