Soulframe: Update 11 coming with Waste Bear Fable and new features

Digital Extremes has presented the Soulframe Devstream 9, dedicated to the new update of Soulframe Preludes, which will arrive by the end of the month free of charge on PC for all players with access to the closed Pre-Alpha.

Update 11 will introduce the Waste Bear Fable, allowing Envoys to venture into the heart of the Neath’uns to face new enemies and bring forth Bromius, the corrupted Omen Beast. Once the Fable is completed, players will be able to forge a new Pact with abilities inspired by Bromius’s vegetal world, unlocking also a furry yet menacing armor set, as well as a weapon composed of a massive clawed blade and a honeycomb-shaped shield.

The update will also include several improvements, including eight new progression options that will allow you to unlock the armour transmutation and colour customisation features. Additionally, the three Initial Factions, Alca's Children, Kith of Kings and Silent Rose, will each provide a unique armour set at the time of selection.

On the musical front, two new tracks will accompany Waste Bear Fable: Song of Waste, already available on YouTube, and Song of Growth, which will be released alongside the launch of update 11. Both, along with others, will arrive on major streaming platforms within the year.

To participate in Soulframe Preludes, you can sign up on the official website. Players who join the waitlist are randomly selected each week to enter the closed Pre-Alpha on PC.

Lorenzo "WaR" Agonigi was born in the now too distant 1995 and already three years later, in 1998, he began his gaming career, with a flaming Nintendo 64. I have to be honest, I wasn't a pro gamer right from the start, so much so that my first experiences more than as a gamer were as a spectator: while my parents, in turn, played, I enjoyed watching them (hey, I invented Twitch ten years in advance!!).
