The new chapter of the historic series by Sports Interactive and SEGA, Football Manager 23, launches next on 8 November across an unprecedented number of platforms and devices, including the brand-new PlayStation 5 and Apple Arcade.
For the first time in the series’ history, the depth and emotions of the world’s most famous football manager arrive on PS5. Designed for the DualSense controller, FM23 Console will be released alongside the PC/Mac version. After a year of pause, our popular Touch series returns to Apple devices via the Apple Arcade platform. Apple Arcade subscribers will be able to leave their mark inside and outside the field with FM23 Touch on iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV.

"FM23 represents another significant step forward for the Football Manager series, with its debut on two new platforms", said Miles Jacobson, director of Sports Interactive. "Fans have been asking us for years to create a version for PlayStation. I'm pleased to announce that players will now be able to experience the closest thing to being a real football manager on a Sony console".
"The decision not to release a Touch version for iOS and Android in 2021 was difficult, and we know many of our fans were disappointed. This fantastic collaboration with Apple Arcade allows us to re-present a popular title in a version that makes perfect sense for us as a studio, and for the large FM community"
FM23 brings players even closer to every aspect of the world’s most beautiful game, from the fans filling the stadiums to the observers, opposing players, and managers, with new licensed competitions such as the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, and UEFA Europa Conference League. We will reveal the game’s new features in the coming weeks through social channels and the Football Manager website, and via FMFC, the go-to hub for all Football Manager enthusiasts.

From today until the launch day, all those who pre-order FM23 (for PC and Mac) through an authorised digital retailer from SEGA will receive a 20% discount and be able to start their managerial career early thanks to early access. Soon, the game will also be available for pre-order via Microsoft Store. Early access will be available via Steam, Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store approximately two weeks before the official launch, and single-player careers started during that period can be transferred into the final game.
Those who purchase the physical copy of FM23 will notice the absence of the disc in this year's edition. Each package will instead contain a unique code that, once redeemed, will allow gameplay on Steam, Epic Games, or Microsoft Store.
