At The Game Awards 2022, new details of Street Fighter 6 were revealed, including information about the immersive single-player World Tour mode, four new characters, the opening of pre-orders today (physical copies will be available in the coming days) and the much-anticipated global release date, 2 June 2023.

All those who place a pre-order will receive alternate colours for Chun-Li, Jamie, Manon, Dee Jay, Juri and Ken's Outfit 1, while those who place a digital pre-order for PlayStation 5 e PlayStation 4 will also receive exclusive items such as the 18 Special Title in-game and 18 unique-sticker designs from the launch roster to customise their profile. The three pre-order editions available today are:

  • Standard Edition (Physical/Digital) – Includes the base game, Fighting Ground, World Tour, Battle Hub and the launch roster of 18 characters
  • Deluxe Edition(Digital) – Includes the base game and the Year 1 Character Pass (containing four characters), the 3-10 colour options for Costume 1 of each of those Pass Year 1 characters, and a bonus of 4,200 Drive Tickets for in-game purchases

Subsequently, new details were revealed about the brand-new World Tour mode. Visit thrilling locations such as a beach in Jamaica, an arena in Italy, a festival in France, and more while traveling around the world learning Special Moves from Masters.

You can also mix and combine Special Moves from different Masters, meaning your avatar can launch a Hadoken or Sonic Boom, perform a Spinning Bird Kick, and execute a Yoga Flame, all in the same match, provided different inputs are used. World Tour also introduces Master Assist,, allowing players to fight alongside a Master such as Ryu by summoning him into battle as an aid for a limited time — a useful tool when facing multiple opponents.

Finally, various mini-games will be available, such as breaking bottles with karate, tasting Italian cuisine, and deflecting basketballs — and more. The mini-games can be played between matches in the form of part-time jobs, allowing you to earn World Tour currency to buy clothes, food, and other items in the game.
