After the official launch of Street Fighter 6 last month, Rashid “the thundering desert eagle” will make his whirlwind debut on 24 July 2023 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. Players will be able to experience Rashid’s content across all three game modes, including:
- World Tour: Meet Rashid in the brand new Story Mode of Street Fighter 6 to learn and apply his moves to your customised avatar set, discover more about his background and deepen your bond with this new Master
- Fighting Ground: Rashid makes his debut as the 19th playable character, with new and unique moves that players must master
- Battle Hub: Players can acquire gear, emotes and much more related to Rashid via this month's Fighting Pass, "Rashid Arrives!"

Rashid bursts onto the scene with new and classic moves characterised by parkour and lightning-fast movements, including:
- Arabian Cyclone: A new special move that delivers a spinning kick and creates a whirlwind; can be used as a standalone attack or transformed into Rolling Assault or Wing Stroke
- Arabian Skyhigh: A new double jump move that forces opponents to guess where Rashid will land from high above
- Super Rashid Kick: Level 1 Super Art that unleashes a devastating kick while soaring forward and upward into the air
- Ysaar: Previously, Rashid’s V-Trigger move in Street Fighter V, this Level 2 Super Art summons a slow-moving projectile vortex that can be used to pressure opponents
- Altair: Rashid’s Level 3 Super Art summons a storm that lifts opponents before dousing them with a torrent of powerful strikes
