Arcane, Riot's first TV series, will debut on Sunday, November 7 at 03:00 CET. It will be broadcast on Tencent Video in China and Netflix worldwide a few hours after the final of the League of Legends World Championship. The series is divided into three acts, with three episodes each. The first three episodes focus on the birth of the two sisters and will be broadcast on November 7. The second act will be released a week later, on 13 November, and the third will be available on 20 November.

Arcane represents the beginning of a new chapter for Riot and we look forward to players discovering what we have in store for them between games, entertainment and eSport.'
''To celebrate this moment, we want to put players at the center of an incredible launch experience. The World Cup and Arcane will join to form a global festival of competitions, entertainment and communities, in a totally new way. A sort of super weekend for the players.'
Set in the world of League of Legends, Arcane talks about the delicate balance between the rich city of Piltover and the squalor of Zaun. Many people call it ''the city of progress'' and it is home to many of the brightest minds. But the creation of Hextech, which allows everyone to control magic energy, threatens this balance. Although Arcane tells the stories of the League of Legends champions, the series is created to be a complex world full of moral decisions, breathtaking animations and an exciting story.
Christian Linke, co-creator of Arcane: ''When we decided to create Arcane, we knew we had something special in hand with the story of Jinx and Vi. We wanted to explore the idea of what you can do for your family, the compromises to which you can descend and the conflicts that follow them. The story, along with the hand-drawn graphic style and the animation of the characters we created together with Fortiche, will allow players to discover the world of League of Legends.'
In Arcane players will find some familiar faces like Jinx, Vi, Jayce and Caitlyn, and during their stories they will discover the events that made them the champions we know today. They will also discover new faces like Vander and Silco, both citizens of Zaun with a fundamental role in an evolving world.
Alex Yee, co-creator of Arcane: ''Arcane is a history of dualism. As the characters are divided between the two half of a city with opposite but complementary values and opportunities. Everyone with their own merits and sins. You can be the hero in one story, but the villain in another.'
The champions in Arcane are the ones that players have learned to love in our titles. They should look very familiar, but there may be differences in TV adaptation. The series will explore the extremes to which our characters will go when family and tradition find themselves against principles and beliefs. Their inner struggles have an unexpected effect on the world and shape the future of sister cities.
