Level Infinite and SHIFT UP have announced the launch of the update dedicated to the fourth anniversary of GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, available today on PC, iOS and Android. To celebrate four years of the sci-fi action RPG, the developers have prepared one of the game’s richest content updates, introducing three new characters, major narrative developments, exclusive outfits, a musical collaboration with Stellar Blade and numerous free rewards. The celebrations will continue on November 5, when the second part of the event will arrive with additional content and a surprise yet to be revealed.

Among the main new features we have Marian: Queen, a new version of the character who, after pursuing her ideal of a world in which loved ones can live without further sacrifice, prepares to face off against the Space Queen. By her side debuts Hongryeon: Goddeath, an enhanced variant thanks to Eden’s technology, characterized by a reinforced body and a sword infused with dark matter, forged using fragments of the weapons belonging to Hongryeon and Jang-hwa. An especially terrifying weapon, described as capable of penetrating even Lilith’s body.
To complete the trio, Rapunzel: Sanctuary arrives, a new SSR support unit inspired by papal iconography and designed to offer greater battlefield mobility. Thanks to the Red Shoes technology, this version of Rapunzel can move swiftly during combat, expanding the strategic options available to players. The most interesting news, however, concerns its distribution: players can obtain up to four copies of Rapunzel: Sanctuary for free by participating in activities organized for the anniversary.
The update will also advance the main storyline through the chapters 49 and 50, which will delve into events related to the defensive campaign preparing for the Ark’s advance toward the surface. The conflict will escalate into the Third Surface Reconquest War, a large-scale confrontation destined to involve all factions and determine humanity’s future. These chapters will also mark the conclusion of the narrative arc of the Underground Ark, paving the way for a new chapter in the story.
On the narrative events front, MARIA-n launches as a fully voiced adventure following Marian during her awakening inside a mysterious research facility. The protagonist must explore unknown environments and take her first steps across the surface, attempting to reconstruct what occurred and uncover secrets long concealed. This experience is complemented by Fading Affection, a mini-game structured as a text-based visual novel with multiple-choice options, in which players can explore fragments of memory and discover previously unseen developments from the past.
There couldn’t have been a collaboration with Stellar Blade missing, another title developed by SHIFT UP. The musical initiative TRACING THE STARS x Stellar Blade will feature a selection of 22 tracks, four of which are obtainable for free, accompanied by dedicated aesthetic elements, mini-game backgrounds, and a special addition to the cast. A collaboration that will allow fans of both productions to rediscover some of the most recognizable musical atmospheres of the action-adventure genre within the NIKKE universe.
The anniversary will also bring four new costumes. Among those available through the gacha system are Marian: Queen-Last Affection, a wedding dress celebrating the character’s happiness, and Snow White: Heavy Arms-Lacrimosa. Two other outfits, Neon_Vision e Nayuta_Vision, will instead be tied to the Battle Pass, expanding character customization options.
Particularly generous will be the distribution of rewards. During the celebrations, Commanders will be able to obtain up to 259 free recruitment attempts, along with special 4th Anniversary Nikke Selection Boxes, which will allow them to choose between Rapunzel: Sanctuary, Chime, Rapunzel: Pure Grace and Snow White: Innocent Days. An initiative designed both to reward veterans and to give new players an opportunity to rapidly expand their roster.
The fourth anniversary marks another important milestone for GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, which, according to developer data, has surpassed 45 million downloads since launch. The update also introduces Spanish subtitles, further expanding the game’s linguistic accessibility. The fourth anniversary update for GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE is already available free of charge on PC, iOS and Android, while the second phase of celebrations will arrive on 5 November 2026, featuring new costumes, additional narrative content and a surprise that SHIFT UP will reveal soon.
