Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios have released a new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 that reveals the first gameplay of the downloadable content (DLC) for the upcoming guest fighter, Patriota. Directly from the series The Boys on Amazon Prime Video, Patriota will join the ranks of the fighters in Mortal Kombat 1 on the 4 June, with early access for owners of the Kombat Pack, and will be available to everyone from the 11 June.

Patriota is the most powerful being on the planet and the leader of the Seven, an elite team owned and managed by Vought International. Patriota appears as the ultimate protector, but do not be fooled by his star-like appearance and high popularity index: he is a narcissistic and sociopathic assassin with an insatiable appetite for approval, being loved, and power. Patriota 's thirst for power and his desire to eliminate rivals extend beyond his own world; his rage will strike at challengers from other realms. As shown in the new video, Patriota dominates his opponents with his superhuman strength, aerial attacks, and the ability to strike enemies with his laser eye beams.
The trailer also shows a first look at the gameplay of Ferra, the new Kameo DLC fighter who contributes to battles with various support moves. Ferra will be available as part of the Kombat Pack and as a standalone purchase in June 2024.
