“The Football Festival” arrives on eFootball 2023

Konami Digital Entertainment has announced the arrival of “Season 2” of eFootball 2023. Characterised by the theme “The Football Festival”, the new season will bring a series of events and in-game campaigns, some already available today.

Among the main updates, the addition of 40 selectable National Teams for a limited time in offline mode "Trial Match" and in online mode "Dream Team", and the "National Team Pack" of Japan, Brazil, Argentina and France. The expansion of the “Trial Match” mode will be active from 16 November 2022 to mid-February 2023.

To celebrate the exciting World Cup 2022 calendar, eFootball 2023 features "The International Cup Experience". Players from 46 countries will face artificial intelligence and compete in group stages followed by direct elimination rounds to reach the summit of world football. “The International Cup Experience” will be available from 17 November 2022 to 12 January 2023.

This initiative complements the already underway "eFootball™ International Cup", a competition with a final prize pool of over 1 billion eFootball! coins. The “eFootball International Cup” ends on Saturday, 17 December.

To help all players begin or continue their journey in eFootball, four new National Team Pack have been added. These packs include 11 cards, one for each position in the starting lineup. This allows players to have a complete, balanced pack that enables them to build a competitive team. These packs are useful both for improving Dream Team for veterans and for providing a solid starting foundation for newcomers.

The new National Team Pack includes:

National Pack: France 2022 (Nov)
National Pack: Argentina 2022 (Nov)
National Pack: Brazil 2022 (Nov)
National Pack: Japan 2022 (Nov)

Each National Team Pack will also include a player card “Big Time” – new Epic theme.

“Big Time” is the new theme for the “Epico” player cards in eFootball™. These players, from the present and past, will be honoured with special edition cards celebrating their incredible careers. Fans will thus be able to relive some of the most memorable moments in football history within the game.
