Announced during the RGG Summit event, this action-adventure title sees Majima in a new pirate outfit, navigating between exotic islands and dangerous seas. The story takes place one year after the events of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, with Majima waking up on a deserted island with no memory. Accompanied by Noah, the boy who saved him, he will confront modern pirates and criminals hunting a legendary treasure.
In Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, players will guide Majima to the conquest of the seas aboard his ship, the Goromaru, recruiting a unique crew and facing enemies with two distinct combat styles: the lethal Lupo di mare, which uses pirate weapons and two short swords, and the chaotic Cane pazzo, which combines speed and aggression.
Three pre-order editions are available:
- Standard Edition (digital/physical)
- Deluxe Edition (digital) with extra content for personalisation.
- Collector's Edition (physical), which includes exclusive gadgets such as a replica of Majima's bandage.
Those who pre-order the game will receive the bonus "Ichiban's Pirate Crew", which adds Ichiban Kasuga and his crab Nancy to Majima's crew, along with the "Ichiban Special Outfit Set".
This new chapter adds to a year rich with successes for the series, which also saw the release of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and the live-action series Amazon Original Like a Dragon: Yakuza, available from 24 October 2024 on Prime Video.
