The Monster Hunter series has reached new heights at the start of this year with the global release of Monster Hunter Rise on Nintendo Switch. After receiving widespread praise for its distinctive gameplay, new features, and ongoing free post-launch support, Monster Hunter Rise will open the doors of Kamura Village to PC players starting 12 January 2022. Before the full game launch, a free public demo will be available on Steam from 13 October. In addition to confirming the PC specifications for Monster Hunter Rise, new information has also been revealed for all Monster Hunter Rise players, including details about Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, the monstrous new expansion available simultaneously for Nintendo Switch and PC in summer 2022.

At launch, the full version of Monster Hunter Rise on PC will include all major post-launch content available in the Nintendo Switch version up to the end of November 2021. Further information on future content and schedules will be released later. The PC version will also feature a full range of customizable settings, allowing hunters to enjoy the journey with 4K resolution and ultrawide (21:9) support, along with unlocked frame rates and high-resolution textures.
The PC demo will offer players numerous hunting options, in single-player offline and multiplayer online modes (up to four players), with the ability to use all 14 types of weapons. For new hunters, the PC demo will provide an "Training" option and a "Wyvern Guide" tutorial, each offering useful tips and instructions. Once hunters are ready, they can tackle three different hunting missions, each with distinct difficulty levels, from Beginner (Great Izuchi) to Intermediate (Mizutsune) and Advanced (Magnamalo).
