BlackMill Games announced at the FPS Games Show that the first free post-launch expansion of Gallipoli will be available from 1 October 2026. The update will be part of the Second Expedition and introduce as the main novelty Ali Al Muntar, a new map inspired by the strategical height protagonist of the Second Battle of Gaza during the First World War. Ali Al Muntar will also bring with it an absolute novelty for WW1 Series. At the beginning of the battle, in fact, the players will come cinematically accompanied by some tanks, used to recreate the atmosphere and scale of the clash. The teaser showed during the event offered a first taste of the new setting and the arrival of armoured vehicles.

Expansion is only part of the Second Expedition, first major post-launch update provided by the Gallipoli roadmap. In addition to the new map will be introduced eight new weapons, further configurations for weather conditions and moments of the day and especially the proximity chat, which will allow to communicate with other soldiers in the immediate vicinity during the clashes. Next to free content will also arrive new DLC cosmetics for payment, while BlackMill Games reiterated its intention to support Gallipoli with updates for several years, continuing to gradually expand available maps, arsenals and content.

Posted last August, Gallipoli is the most recent chapter in the WW1 Game Series and brings to the battlefield the forces of the British Empire and the Ottoman Empire in team battles 25 against 25, inspired by the countryside of Gallipoli and more generally the Ottoman fronts of the Great War.
The first part of the Second Expedition of Gallipoli will be available for free from 1 October 2026. The game is available on PC via Steam, Microsoft Store and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with complete cross-play between platforms.
