Described as a bake-and-brawl adventure, Acornia: Mirror Worlds revolves around two mirrored dimensions, each featuring different activities and dangers. Players will take on the role ofAlva, tasked with restoring her family’s bakery to its former glory, alternating between managing the shop and missions in a parallel world populated by decidedly unfriendly spirits. In the calmer dimension you can tend to raw materials, bake sweets, and manage the pastry shop, progressing through each stage of production. Automation systems will also be available, useful for boosting daily efficiency, along with customisation options to furnish and restore the old shop. The situation will change dramatically crossing the boundary between the two worlds. In the dark dimension, Alva must tackle dungeons, enemies, and boss battles, exploring the lower levels in search of new challenges. The adventure thus blends typical management simulator activities with an action component, creating a constant back-and-forth between the tranquility of the pastry shop and the perils of the mirror world.
To make the game system even more distinctive will be the protagonist’s special ability, featuring backpack pockets that appear to have no bottom, in which to store sweets and other delicacies. These items will not only be used to please the customers of the pastry shop, but can also be employed as projectiles during combat, turning the protagonist’s own creations into real weapons against hostile spirits.
The video also delves into the possibilities offered by the crafting, cooking, farming and decoration systems, elements that will contribute to the growth of your family business and the overall progression of the adventure. The goal will therefore be to strike a balance between production, exploration and combat, using the resources gathered in both worlds to gradually improve your pastry-making skills. The video also delves into the possibilities offered by the crafting, cooking, farming and decoration systems, elements that will contribute to the growth of your family business and the overall progression of the adventure.
