IllFonic has showcased, at the PC PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted, the official first map for Halloween, the new asymmetric stealth horror developed and published by the studio in collaboration with Gun Interactive and produced in association with Compass International Pictures and Further Front. The title, based on the iconic cinematic franchise, transports players to the heart of Haddonfield with a setting that promises to blend nostalgia, tension, and pure horror.

The map, named Haddonfield Heights Haddonfield Heights, unfolds beneath the unmistakable water tower of the town. During the day, it evokes the tranquillity of American suburbs, with well-maintained villas and neat gardens; at night, it transforms into a oppressive labyrinth of alleys, hedges and secondary roads that offer escape… or doom. Every courtyard and every passage is designed to encourage the cat-and-mouse game that defines the experience. In this new setting, players can take on the role of a Citizen or Michael Myers. As a Citizen, the objective is to survive long enough to rescue the residents, gather resources and find a phone to call the police before it’s too late. As Myers, however, the experience becomes a relentless hunt in the darkness, using supernatural abilities like Shape Jump to move between shadows and houses without being seen, striking with sudden precision. Jordan Mathewson, Design Director at IllFonic, explained that the map was designed to recreate the original film’s atmosphere on a more intimate scale, where every detail, from the hedge to the ajar door, builds tension and rewards intelligent choices, whether you’re hunting or fleeing.
Halloween arrives on 8 September 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam and Epic Games Store, promising to return the terror of Haddonfield into players' hands with an asymmetric experience packed with tension and twists.
