Wired Productions and LKA officially reveal their third collaboration, When Sirens Fall Silent, a psychological investigative thriller set in the outskirts of Rome at the start of the 1990s. LKA continues its tradition of meticulously recreating real Italian locations while also telling disturbing, intimate, and deeply human stories, tackling difficult themes without compromise and once again pushing the boundaries of the video game medium. Here, there are no gratuitous graphic horrors, but another form of unease: more subtle, more everyday, more real.

In When Sirens Fall Silent you play as Mila, a determined young police officer trapped between a past she desperately tries to leave behind and a high-profile investigation into kidnappings and murders. As the case darkens and reality fractures, you’ll need to protect not only the victims, but Mila herself, threatened by a vortex of violence, mystery, and disorientation that risks swallowing her whole. Following the success of The Town of Light e Martha Is Dead, both acclaimed and lauded for their narrative courage, When Sirens Fall Silent joins the Storie Senza Voce series and weaves connections and callbacks to the studio’s previous games. Luca Dalcò continues to give voice to forgotten existences, telling what often remains on the margins.
Developed in Unreal Engine 5, the game pushes the technical possibilities available to a small but extremely specialised team to their limits. LKA also introduces an important step forward in narrative structure: a branching and multi-level dialogue system, based on verbal and emotional interactions, investigation, and choices, marking a significant evolution compared to previous titles. The first trailer, part of a series of conceptual videos, presents the game world from the perspective of the media, immersing the viewer in the atmosphere of tension and the social context of the era.
