Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC, offering a comprehensive overview of the actions, systems, and new features of this highly anticipated remake. The game will be available from 26 September 2025 on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam).

The video shows various specific moves for each stage, including the ice skating in the Snowy Mountains, the snorkeling in deep marine waters, and the return of the legendary Pac-Marine. Pac-Man must use his new abilities to tackle environmental challenges such as jumping over rivers of lava, descending through ice, and diving into oceanic abysses.
Beyond the platform stages, the trailer reveals an expanded Pac-Village, which now includes:

As in the original from 2002, the story revolves around the theft of the Golden Fruit by the ghosts, which thus frees the terrible Spooky, the king of ghosts. It will be Pac-Man’s job to embark on a journey through the colourful Pac-Land, reclaim the fruits, and finally stop the evil Spooky once and for all.
PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC is not just a simple remaster: the title features expanded levels, quality-of-life improvements, full voice acting, new Pac-Man moves, reworked bosses, new characters, and customization options. For the first time, it will also include a local co-op mode for two players, allowing players to explore Pac-Land together by assuming the roles of Pac-Man and Pac-Drone. With its nostalgic atmospheres combined with a modernized technical and gameplay experience, PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC aims to appeal to both veterans of the original and new players, offering a fresh, accessible, and content-rich adventure.
