Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition arrives on console and PC on 15 July

During the PC Gaming Show 2025, Aspyr has announced Dungeons & Dragons Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition, arriving for the first time also on consoles. The game will be available from 15 luglio 2025 on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and GOG, at a price of 29,99€, with the option to preorder today with a 10% discount until launch day.

This definitive re-release of the classic GDR brings improved graphics, full controller support, all three original expansions, modding via Steam Workshop and a series of gameplay optimisations designed to modernise the experience while preserving its charm.

With over 100 hours of content and four distinct campaigns, Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition includes:

• Mask of the Betrayer, which follows the events of the main campaign and takes players into the Kingdom of Shadows as a FragmentBearer fighting against a devastating spiritual hunger.

• Storm of Zehir, where we must pilot a stranded crew through a hostile jungle, thwarting a threat looming over the entire Faerûn.

• Mysteries of Westgate, set in a city full of secrets, amid intrigues, dangers and moral choices.

For the first time on console, the game features a reimagined controller system for gamepad, while still supporting mouse and keyboard on PC. Additionally, players will be able to play co-op with up to four players via full crossplay across all platforms.

Beyond official content, the Enhanced Edition will fully support Steam Workshop, providing immediate access to modules, adventures and community-created content. Aspyr will also launch the pack Neverwinter Nights 1 + 2 Enhanced Collection, which will include both titles in their definitive versions, releasing on 15 July on Steam, Xbox and GOG, with pre-orders already available.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition will be available from 15 July 2025 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam e GOG).
