Battlefield 6: revealed the solo campaign at PlayStation State of Play

During the latest PlayStation State of Play, Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios presented a new trailer dedicated to the single-player campaign of Battlefield 6, described as the largest total war experience ever created for the series.

Set in 2027, the world of Battlefield 6 is on the brink of collapse. The historic alliance NATO is fracturing amid distrust, financial crises, wars over resources, and political disputes. In this scenario emerges the threat of the Pax Armata, a private military company with unlimited resources and advanced technology, ready to fill the global power vacuum.

Players will don the gear of the Dagger 13, a squad of elite US Marine Corps operatives tasked with confronting the Pax Army in a series of thrilling missions. From the streets of Brooklyn to the sands of Cairo, the campaign promises adrenaline-fueled sequences, spectacular moments, and global-scale explosive action, bringing back the classic narrative experience the community has always cherished.

Beyond the campaign, Battlefield 6 will offer:

  • new multiplayer modes never seen before in the series,

  • the return of Portal, with unlimited customisation options,

  • an evolved sandbox, where vehicles, strategies and dynamic combat can alter the course of the battle.

The release date is set for the 10 October 2025, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam, EA app, Epic Games Store).

Biography

- Direttore di KotaWorld.it
Eugenio lives happily trapped between three decidedly different habitats: the classrooms of a Venetian high school, the seabed and digital worlds. Technology, on the other hand, entered his home long before any microscope: a father who was an irreducible NES player taught him that behind every video game there is an interesting world... and behind every computer there is almost certainly a problem to be solved.
