PLAION and Dambuster Studios have announced the release of Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition planned for 22 October this year. The final edition of the famous survival horror title will offer players, in addition to the basic game, both expansions of history - Haus and SoLA - together with a wide range of unique weapons and equipment, including the new Package Kingdom Come: Deliverance II.

New cooperative orda mode incoming
In addition to new content, the upcoming patch 6, available free of charge for all game owners, will introduce Neighborhood Watch, a cooperative orda mode developed in collaboration with Fishlabs. Players, in the form of a new trio of survivors, the Bobcats, will have to defend their house in the canals of Venice from waves of implacable zombies. The mode will offer new skills, weapons and the introduction of traps, an absolute novelty for the series.

New Game Plus and new challenges
With the New Game Plus, players can relive the adventure in Los Angeles (HELL-A), keeping their favorite characters and weapons, facing new challenges and getting exclusive rewards. An additional skill slot was also introduced and an increase in the level limit for an even richer experience.
