Today marks the official launch of Flux Soul, the new Metroidvania title developed by JollyCo, now available on Steam. The game has already reached the top 3 of the most followed titles of the genre on the platform, reflecting the expectations and enthusiasm of the videoludic community. Combining a compelling narrative with unique character skills and hand-drawn cutscenes, Soul Flux promises an exciting experience for fans of the genre. Soul Flux immerses players in a dystopian world where two genetically modified soldiers, at the service of a theocratic regime, must fight against a mutant invasion to save the last space city of humanity. The gameplay allows both the solo adventure, in which the player alternates between the two protagonists, and the co-op mode, locally or online, through Steam Remote Play. The futuristic 2D world, inspired by the retro-fantascientific aesthetics of the 80s and 90s, takes life through detailed settings and strategic fighting, where each special skill plays a crucial role in survival. In addition, hand-drawn animated sequences enrich the atmosphere, offering players a visual narrative that fully captures the charm and darkness of the world of Soul Flux.
