The wait is over: Metro Awakening, the new VR chapter of the acclaimed Metro series, is now available on PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest, SteamVR and Viveport. Developed by Vertigo Games in collaboration with Deep Silver and with the involvement of the series creator, Dmitry Glukhovsky, the game offers an immersive experience in the post-apocalyptic world of Metro.
In Metro Awakening, players explore the underground tunnels of Moscow, experiencing the story of Khan, one of the series' most enigmatic characters. The gameplay combines atmospheric exploration, stealth, and intense combat, offering a unique experience in the VR landscape.
For those suffering from arachnophobia, a post-launch update will introduce a specific mode to avoid encounters with spiders, allowing for a more comfortable exploration of the unsettling tunnels in Metro.
Metro Awakening is available in two editions:
- Standard Edition: includes the base game.
- Deluxe Edition: in addition to the base game, it includes the "Memories of Polyanka" package, which contains exclusive additional content.
