Manga Issho, the first European manga magazine, launches on 25 March

On 25 March 2025 in Milan, Star Comics will officially launch Manga Issho, the first European magazine entirely dedicated to manga. The launch event will take place at the libreria Mondadori di Piazza Duomo, from 15:30 to 19:30, promising a unique experience for all comic and manga enthusiasts.

Manga Issho represents an unprecedented collaboration between four major European publishers: Star Comics (Italy), altraverse (Germany), Kana (France and Belgium), and Planeta Cómic (Spain). The quarterly magazine will feature an extraordinary variety of stories created by 72 authors, including renowned names such as Matteo Bussola and Federica Di Meo, and emerging talents, each with a personal style influenced by the manga tradition.

The official presentation is expected to include several special moments:

  • At 15.30, a masterclass led by renowned Italian authors such as Matteo Bussola, Federica Di Meo, Matteo Filippi, Ivana Murianni, Denise “Zanuse” Coraggioso, Fausto Chiodoni and Claudia Cocci. The artists will demonstrate the creative process behind a manga, from idea to final page, creating live illustrations.

  • From 17.30 to 18.40, the panel “Creativity Without Borders”, moderated by journalist and creator Eva Carducci, will delve into the origins of the project, the values behind Manga Issho, and reveal anecdotes and curiosities surrounding the stories of the first issue.

  • Finally, from 18.45 to 19.30, a signing session with the authors present will take place, offering the public the chance to meet the artists up close.

Lorenzo "WaR" Agonigi was born in the now too distant 1995 and already three years later, in 1998, he began his gaming career, with a flaming Nintendo 64. I have to be honest, I wasn't a pro gamer right from the start, so much so that my first experiences more than as a gamer were as a spectator: while my parents, in turn, played, I enjoyed watching them (hey, I invented Twitch ten years in advance!!).
