Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe is joining the group of publishers ready to support the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, announcing today three very different titles but united by one thing: the arrival of Nintendo’s new console in 2025. We’re talking about ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition, a complete version of the FromSoftware cult game, the surprising SHADOW LABYRINTH, a dark action-platform reinterpretation of the arcade universe, and the stylish return of the cute digital creatures in TAMAGOTCHI PLAZA.

One of the most acclaimed games of the last generation is ready to capture the Nintendo audience. ELDEN RING Tarnished Edition will indeed bring the entire original experience, including the DLC Shadow of the Erdtree, to the new platform. Alongside the main package, new customization options for Torrente, the mount that accompanies the protagonist on his journey through the shattered world, will also arrive.
It is unclear how technical performance will be handled on Switch 2, but Bandai Namco appears to be aiming high even on this platform. The release is scheduled for 2025, with the exact date to be confirmed.
Another announcement that drew attention is SHADOW LABYRINTH, a 2D action platformer developed by Bandai Namco Studios that reimagines classic arcade icons through a dark, sci-fi lens. At the heart of the scene is an alien and unsettling version of PAC-MAN, tasked with surviving and dominating in a hostile world brimming with traps.
The idea is simple but intriguing: explore, fight, and consume hostile creatures to become the ultimate predator in a labyrinthine world. The game will arrive on 18 July 2025 for Nintendo Switch and will also be available on Nintendo Switch 2, with pre-orders already active for the first console and arriving for the second.
Closes the trio TAMAGOTCHI PLAZA, a new chapter in the Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop series that brings back the soft and colourful world of Tamagotchi. This time, the player will manage real shops within the city of Tamahiko, interacting with over 100 different creatures. Each commercial activity can be expanded, improved, and made popular, while the player’s reputation grows throughout the city.
The game will be compatible with Tamagotchi Uni, the latest Tamagotchi device released, and will debut on 27 June 2025 on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
