505 Games and ArtPlay, have released a free update for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on PC, Xbox and PlayStation, which includes two new game modes and the DLC cosmetic Shantae. Three paid cosmetic DLC packages are also available for purchase. The update and the DLC will arrive on Nintendo Switch May 16.
The first new game mode, called "Chaos Mode", will launch players into a series of random rooms populated by increasingly difficult demons, where they must try to survive, while the "Versus Mode" is a PvP mode for frenetic duels against another player.
The online functionality for the "Chaos and Versus" modes also allows players to join thrilling multiplayer sessions whether in co-op or PvP.
The free cosmetic pack Shantae will give Miriam Shantae's outfit, the famous half-genie heroine! Premium cosmetic packs DLC , available for purchase on the game's stores, include the vampire pack "Succubus" , the pack "Ragazza magica" and the pack "Japanesque" inspired by Japan, each featuring a variety of weapons, costumes and specific accessories.
