In Career mode, players begin their adventure with the Gardens Cup at the Weasley巢, then face the challenge of the Hogwarts House Cup. Here, players can choose their Hogwarts house and compete against iconic characters such as Cedric Diggory and Draco Malfoy. The journey continues with representing one of the three great magical schools – the Beauxbatons Academy, the Durmstrang Institute, or the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry – in the famous Quidditch tournament of the Three Schools. Finally, players compete for victory in the final challenge of the World Quidditch Cup.
In PvP, players will control one of the team’s Hunters, choosing between the roles of Hunter, Goalie, Batter, or Seeker. Players can customise their playstyle by earning ability points to improve stats and unlock special moves. Ranges can be upgraded to enhance speed, agility, and other attributes. All game content will be obtainable exclusively through progression, with no real-money purchase options. For fans who own Hogwarts Legacy, a special bonus is available: downloading Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions and linking to their WB Games account will grant the Legacy Pack bonus.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is scheduled for release on 3 September 2024 as the Digital Standard and Deluxe editions on Xbox, PC (Steam and Epic), and PlayStation. The physical Deluxe edition will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and Xbox One from 8 November 2024, while the Nintendo Switch version will arrive during the holiday season.
