The heartbreaking story of Amicia and Hugo De Rune continues. We will join them on a journey to the south of France in the 14th century, before setting sail for a mysterious island in the Mediterranean. A terrible fate awaits the two brothers, desperately searching for a cure for Hugo’s illness, in a desperate struggle for survival within a dark, medieval world plagued by plague and twisted by supernatural forces.
This new chapter remains faithful to the historical sense that defines the series and to its strong narrative direction, expanding gameplay possibilities and offering players greater freedom in a more open environment. We will be able to choose to operate in the shadows or unleash hell, exploiting Amicia’s new resources, including the use of alchemy to manipulate fire and the long-range power of the bow, as well as her clever use of the surrounding environment and her ability to fight to escape enemies’ grasp.
Designed for both long-time fans and newcomers, A Plague Tale: Requiem has been developed exclusively for next-generation consoles, bringing a completely new level of realism and immersion and offering a sublime visual experience through the new Mediterranean setting and the series’ signature contrast between light and dark.
