AdHoc Studio has announced with enthusiasm that the demo of Dispatch, its new superhero-themed narrative game set in the workplace, was one of the most played titles at the Steam Next Fest di giugno. With over 300,000 downloads, more than 2,000 extremely positive reviews and half a million wishlist entries on Steam, Dispatch has proven itself one of the most surprising and well-received titles of the event.

“We’ve received incredible reactions for Dispatch,” said Nick Herman, director and co-founder of AdHoc Studio. “We know we’re creating something absurd, and seeing hundreds of thousands of people enthusiastically embrace our demo means a lot to the whole team. We read every comment and are sincerely grateful for the support.”
Created by the acclaimed creators behind Tales from the Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us, Dispatch puts players in the shoes of Robert Robertson, alias Mecha Man, a superhero whose mechanical suit is destroyed during an epic showdown with his nemesis. Forced to abandon (temporarily) the world of street brawls, Robert takes a job… as a switchboard operator, in a superhero control centre. But not all is lost. Managing a team of ex-supercriminals in the process of rehabilitation, players can rebuild their armour, maintain open-space relationships, and perhaps, one day, return to the field to get revenge. All set within a narrative rich in humour, moral choices and sharp dialogue.
The release of Dispatch is scheduled for this year on console and PC via Steam.
