Season 7 of Rocket League Sideswipe has arrived! The new season introduces changes to the way the Rocket Pass, Collection Rewards and the next Competitive Season work.
Here are the main features of the new season:
- Changes to the Rocket Pass - Rocket Pass progression will no longer reset between Seasons, and now serves as a permanent way to track in-game progress, while also earning items. Players will receive Items, Badge Borders, and a new currency, Tokens, every time they level up. Tokens can be used to purchase Season Presents, which will contain random items from previous Seasons. - Introduction of Collections - A new Collections Table has been added to the game to track all customization items. When players collect every item in a category, they will also receive the corresponding Collection reward. For example, collecting every Propulsion item will earn the Gold Rush Propulsion.
- Changes to the Ranked Season - Seasons will be slightly shorter from now on, lasting eight weeks each. At the start of each season, there will be a soft rank reset, and players will return to the first tier of any Rank they had reached at the end of the previous season.
