The World Art Trailer vividly captures the essence of RONDO, showcasing an appealing blend of traditional aesthetics and modern imagery. RONDO is a large 8x8 map map, making it the largest playable area ever introduced in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS. Players will be able to enter RONDO when update 27.1 arrives, on 6 December for PC and 14 December for consoles.
RONDO offers a perfect blend of traditional charm and contemporary imagery, across its diverse regions. In the southwest, players will encounter new environments such as lakes and bamboo groves, while the northeast presents a different setting with various peaks. Yu Lin, surrounded by lakes and forests, exudes traditional beauty. Tin Long Garden, located in a typical residential area, boasts waterfalls and rocky mountains, harmonising grandeur with nature. At Mey Ran, where buildings and rivers coexist, aquatic battles await the players.

The map also features a modern urban landscape. Jadena City, with its towering skyscrapers and vibrant neon signs, serves as the backdrop for intense urban combat. NEOX Factory introduces unique combat scenarios, including a vehicle test track and a factory zone featuring the NEOX Blanc vehicle. Players can explore a series of visually distinct areas, such as Rin Jiang, Jao Tin and the Stadium.
RONDO introduces unique map elements. The destructible bamboo is strategically placed everywhere, adding a tactical layer to the gameplay, as players can destroy it using thrown objects or vehicles. There are also specific transport options for the city. In Jadena City, the Mid-Level Escalator allows players to move quickly between buildings. Furthermore, RONDO introduces a new weapon designed exclusively for the map: the JS9, a 9mm SMG with relatively low recoil and the ability to switch to automatic fire, making it the preferred choice within the map.
