Deadlock's abilities:
GravNet (C)
Equip your GravNet grenade. Use the FIRE button to throw it. Use the ALTERNATE FIRE button to launch it upwards. The GravNet explodes on impact, forcing enemies hit by the blast to crouch and move slowly.
Ultrasonic sensor (Q)
Equipage a sonic sensor. Use the FIRE button to place it. The sensor monitors an area for enemy sounds, deploying a disorienting effect if it detects footsteps, gunfire, or other significant noises.
Protection network (E)
Equipage a disc containing a protective net. Use the FIRE button to throw it forward. On impact, the disc creates a series of radial barriers that block character movement.
Annihilation (X)
Equip your character with a nanofiber accelerator. Press the FIRE button to launch a burst of nanofibers that traps the first enemy you come into contact with in a cocoon. The trapped enemy is dragged along a trail of nanofibers and dies when the trail ends — unless freed.
With Deadlock, we wanted to create a character for players who want to maintain their position reactively by using abilities, rather than having to set up equipment in advance. We hope it will be appreciated by players who enjoy adapting their strategy mid-match and rely on information gathered from their opponents. He said Alexander Mistakidis, game designer.
The Episode 7 Act 1 of VALORANT also introduces a new battle pass and the New Frontier skin line. Inspired by futuristic shapes and designs, the battle pass includes items such as the Phantom Composite Material and the Operator Fard. Among other battle pass items, there will be the Smoke Labyrinth and Pancake Stack sprays.

The Episode 7 Act 1 of VALORANT begins tomorrow, 27 June.
