In the first video, project director Ji Won Choi and art director Chang Kyu Noh explain what the eagerly anticipated title in style soulslike offers in terms of story, characters, atmosphere, art direction, and much more. In the second video, actress Allegra Marland (Elden Ring, The Crown) shares an in-depth analysis of her character Sofia.

In the behind-the-scenes video, based on a series of Q&A, Choi and Roh reveal the meticulous design behind the casting and the game world, and explain what they drew inspiration from to create this title. In her video interview, Marland offers a deep look at Sofia and how she managed to bring this mysterious character to life. Sofia possesses a unique talent: the ability to manipulate time, acquired after awakening Ergo’s true powers. Marland continues by describing her favourite lines and her vision of the character within the story.

Inspired by the famous Pinocchio story, Lies of P is an action soulslike game set in the dark city of Krat, in Belle Époque style. Once a beautiful city, Krat has become a true nightmare, besieged by lethal puppets out of control and a pestilential plague. The player takes on the role of P, a puppet who must make his way through the city, on a difficult journey to find Geppetto and become human. Lies of P is set in a world full of elegance, tension, and rich combat and character customization systems. The story is gripping and features interesting narrative choices: the more lies P tells, the more human he becomes. But in a world full of lies, you can’t trust anyone...
Lies of P by NEOWIZ will arrive on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam in 2023.
