The announcement arrived via a trailer showcasing some gameplay and setting sequences from the Beta, which will present the iconic experience Conquista sulla mappa Orbitale, previously shown in the game’s reveal trailer. PC and next-gen console players will be able to experience the new and epic battles at 128 giocatori. During the Beta, participants will also have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the franchise’s iconic Total War, as one of the four unique specialists, each with their own individual style, specialty, and traits. Players can step into the roles of Boris, a Russian engineer equipped with an SG-36; Casper, a South African expert in camouflage and long-range attacks; Falck, a skilled German medic specializing in support; and Mackay, a Canadian outdoorsman and nomad armed with a pump-action rifle.

Settled in Kourou, French Guiana, the map Orbitale di Battlefield 2042 lets players experience a race against time under hostile conditions while fighting around the site of an imminent rocket launch. The sectors in this map include the Assembly Building, the Launch Platform, and the walkway connecting them. During a Conquest match, players will experience Battlefield’s dynamic maps, featuring an automatic rocket launch sequence, a zipline traversal through lightning towers, vehicle combat under adverse weather conditions, including an unexpected tornado that alters the flow of battle, and much more.

Don’t miss out on the blog series Battlefield Briefing, which will continue until the start of the Open Beta, particularly the new developer blog Progressione e Oggetti cosmetici online on the game’s official site. Here, the developers delve into the progression system of Battlefield 2042, the return of Ribbons, and other features such as Mastery and the Player Card, cross progression, and cosmetic options for Specialists. There are also developer comments with Level Designer Kalle Nystrom and Lead Level Designer Shashank Uchil.

We remind you finally that Battlefield 2042 will be released in stores and online on 19 November at a price of 59.99 euros for PC, 69.99 euros for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and 79.99 euros for Xbox Series X and S and PlayStation 5.

Lorenzo "WaR" Agonigi was born in the now too distant 1995 and already three years later, in 1998, he began his gaming career, with a flaming Nintendo 64. I have to be honest, I wasn't a pro gamer right from the start, so much so that my first experiences more than as a gamer were as a spectator: while my parents, in turn, played, I enjoyed watching them (hey, I invented Twitch ten years in advance!!).
