Gaijin Entertainmentannounced the start of the open beta of the new online military action game War Thunder Mobile. For now the game is available only for Android devices and is distributed in APK format on the official website. Over the next few months will also be released on Google Play and iOS devices.

The game was announced in November 2022 with the name War Thunder Edge and since then he has crossed several phases of alpha test, during which he received his definitive name: War Thunder Mobile. There are no plans to cancel the player's progress in the open beta, so all unlocked vehicles will remain with players even in the final version.
War Thunder Mobile resumes the main element of Major Cousin War Thunder for PC and console: large-scale cooperative battles of legendary terrestrial, naval and air vehicles (such as ground attack aircraft Il-2 of the World War II era or Leopard tanks of the Cold War era) with the use of flight models and physically correct damage. The appearance and technical specifications of each tank and plane are historically accurate, so to effectively destroy the enemy players must study the interior architecture of the vehicle, the location of the key components and crew members and the layout of the armor. At the same time, game controls are comfortable and intuitive, so anyone can get used to War Thunder quickly and start winning.
This new title focuses on the most interesting and known models of tanks, ships and aircraft of all ages - and also at the beginning of the open beta there are already more than 200 units, and among these is the Yamato battleship, which has not yet debuted in the original War Thunder. In addition, there are submarines in naval battles and other unique content and mechanics for War Thunder Mobile are possible in the future. Finally, system of progression, created specifically for War Thunder Mobile, will allow players to easily experience equipment from different countries, such as the legendary German tanks Tiger II and modern American combat vehicles M3 Bradley, and after the upcoming updates the game will include Abrams family tanks.
