An Everyday Story is a 2.5D horizontal sliding story driven platformer who speaks of a man passing through his memories of life. You will see his experiences from the perspective of three small objects that were dear to him, memories full of dreamy and fantastic elements. These objects are actually toys that were donated by someone who loved much or donated by himself to a loved person; they act therefore by “sliding doors” (moments that change life). You will be able to attend the highlights and dark areas of his life, from his childhood to his last breath.

The main theme of the game concerns the melancholy of life, needs and desires, forgiveness, memories, nostalgia and family.

Features of An Everyday Story:

The player moves through the memory of the main character. All toys have their skills, weakness and strength, while the common point is size and fragility.

Tin Soldier is a balanced toy with good resistance to fire and water:

  • It has a ramp (can only be attached to metal objects)
  • Can shoot a suction cup
  • Has a parachute (poor directional mobility)
  • Use a lighter to illuminate dark environments

Bat Origami has high mobility but has low resistance to fire and water:

  • Can slide and make a double jump
  • Can thin and slip under closed doors or through spaces

Wood Ship has a slow mobility but can move on the water:

  • Can interact with levers and objects with anchor
  • Can destroy objects and create new pastiggs

Lorenzo "WaR" Agonigi was born in the now too distant 1995 and already three years later, in 1998, he began his gaming career, with a flaming Nintendo 64. I have to be honest, I wasn't a pro gamer right from the start, so much so that my first experiences more than as a gamer were as a spectator: while my parents, in turn, played, I enjoyed watching them (hey, I invented Twitch ten years in advance!!).
