"Fabledom is a relaxing city builder set in a fairytale world. Expand, do business, hold alliances with your neighbors or inimicateles, but above all find a prince or princess to live with. always happy and happy!"
The description of Steam contains, as few other cases, the whole essence of this video game. Provisioning perfect city manic projects typical of the genre, as in the vetusto but timeless SimCity or in the latest Cities series: Skylines, the will of Fabledom is let you relax while controlling your kingdom, that slowly takes shape, without forgetting, in the meantime, to make some eyeline to the neighboring rulers to make us much more than a friendship.

This does not take away that Fabledom can be faced with the maniacal mind of an engineer fixed with statistics, but, we reiterate, developers have as target the eager gamer to dress up the cloths of a sympathetic ruler that wants to see a colorful city take shape. The fairytale reality in which developers want us to enter is designed with onecartoon and joyful style, made of cute winged pigs and talking trees. Don't worry if at first you make mistakes, it doesn't have to be your first city the perfect one, this is a title that already in advance access deserves to be played and played,to learn how to better exploit the buildings and spaces (but always "in chilling" to say it as a bat of the gen Z). Contrary to the carefreeness of your carpentry vein, there will be the need to evaluate the linking resources to housing and hold a high level of "desirability" of the area to make your subjects happy, in a restricted playing ground.

The alternative of filling jet (can be read randomly) the map of water wells is not economically sustainable:most buildings will have a maintenance fee that you will cover only with revenue based on the number of inhabitants you will have (so the taxes work, in theory). If at first in Fabledom you will find yourself traveling to inflated sails, not taking into account the food and monetary needs, you will think about first winter to remove the wind in the stern and show you what the real needs are. From there you will have to learn how to manage each resource efficiently and use the country according to the seasons.

The gameplay is standard as many other city builders, with the only difference that the goal in Fabledom, more than making everything perfectly efficient and accurate as a Swiss watch, will create our own radiant realm of fairy beauty.
The buildings will be divided according to their macro categories, the "essential" buildings, like the hut of the builders; the "habitative" buildings, houses and condominiums; and so between the buildings to feed our people and the military ones that are being introduced just in the last published patch. To come to the rescue you will be the building management menu, useful every winter to move a marasma of workers from farms, who will no longer produce food, cut wood and produce coal to heat the houses.

Flying page from cartoon style and pigs, however, we find a completely white page. We must not forget that it is a early access game, but all the fairytale aspect is not yet faced: In short, the medieval style is there, but where is my unicorn? Where are the magicians and fairies? We talk about amorous plots but for now they are only bouquets of flowers and coins that we find to send to a distant princess who more than a virtual heart will not use to interactwith us. Even the management of our hero is limited:apart from two number interactions with landscape elements will not serve anything else. Even just using it to give a boost to some production would have been more impactful in the gameplay.

Fabledom starts well but is still distant to give that fairy-tale experience with love interweaving that promises. For this reason, in view of its official publication, we expect that keeping the style and management of current buildings the boys of Grenaa Gamesexpand all aspects that promise to offer in comparison to other competing city-builders. We want even more magic in this kingdom. We want to fall into a fairy world and not only in the yet-new medieval builder. We want deeper interactions with neighboring rulers. For now we keep a carefree and all in all well done medieval city-builder, but we expect to live, sooner or later, that part of fairy tale that already aleges in its name.
