For managing DNS infrastructure, security and web traffic routing, KotaWorld uses services provided by Cloudflare, Inc.
The main domain of KotaWorld can use Cloudflare proxy features. In this configuration, user requests to the site can pass through the Cloudflare infrastructure before reaching the server on which the site is hosted.
As part of the provision of its Cloudflare services, it may process technical and navigation data, including, as an example, IP address, date and time of request, information relating to HTTP/HTTPS requests, connection technical headings, browser and device characteristics, network information and other technical data necessary for the operation and protection of the service.
Cloudflare can be used, according to the configuration adopted, for purposes such as:

- route and management of Internet traffic;
- protection from cyber attacks and DDoS attacks;
- prevention and detection of abusive or harmful traffic;
- firewalls and other network security features;
- optimization of performance and loading times;
- caching and content distribution;
- diagnostics, reliability and availability of service.
The processing of data carried out through such services is mainly connected with the need to ensure the operation, safety, reliability and protection of the computer infrastructure of KotaWorld.
Depending on the service and treatment considered, Cloudflare may operate as controller on behalf of the controller or in accordance with the different role provided by applicable legislation and contractual conditions of the service.
The use of Cloudflare services may involve the processing of data through internationally distributed infrastructure and, in certain circumstances, transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area. These transfers shall be made in accordance with the conditions and guarantees laid down in the applicable legislation.
