Set on the atmospheric and unforgiving continent of Pywel, Crimson Desert is an open-world action-adventure that follows the exploits of Kliff, leader of the Greymanes, a group of battle-hardened mercenaries. Kliff and his company will find themselves fighting to save Pywel from an impending catastrophe, exploring vast and fascinating landscapes, engaging in intense battles, defeating formidable monsters and collecting valuable loot. The narrative takes players on an emotional journey, enhanced by next-gen graphics.
The trailer presented offered a preview of the game mechanics, highlighting a strategic and dynamic combat system, where each clash stands out for its intensity and challenge. Kliff will be able to engage in one-on-one duels or clash with hordes of enemies in large-scale battles, acquiring unique weapons and abilities by defeating monumental bosses.
Among the new features is aerial combat, with Kliff being able to ride and control wyverns, launching fiery attacks against his enemies from above. Pywel presents itself as a breathtaking open world, in which players can climb mysterious peaks, glide smoothly on the ground, or explore its regions on horseback. Thanks to the BlackSpace Engine, the game world comes to life with realistic dynamics of weather and environmental changes.
In addition to combat, the game experience offers many side activities, such as climbing, fishing, cooking, and exploring puzzles and mechanized villages. The interactive aerial Abysses full of surprises complete a universe that promises endless possibilities for discovery.
